Mark Bradford and Darren Walker in conversation with Michael Govan
For the second in The Genesis Talks series at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), internationally acclaimed artist Mark Bradford and former Ford Foundation president Darren Walker joined museum director Michael Govan for an extraordinary conversation about museums, social justice and the power of art to change lives. You can watch the Cultureshock-produced video here, part of our ongoing collaboration with luxury car maker Genesis.

Schiaparelli takes the V&A
All things Schiaparelli lead the spring issue of V&A Magazine, which comes out just as the museum’s much-anticipated exhibition Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art opens on 28 March. Cultureshock has been producing V&A Magazine, an essential benefit of the museum’s membership programme, for more than two decades, and this issue features Schiaparelli creative director Daniel Roseberry in conversation with exhibition curator Lydia Caston on Elsa Schiaparelli’s remarkable, surrealist-inspired creations and lasting impact on fashion.

The best of Tefaf
Couldn’t make it to Maastricht for Tefaf, the preeminent art fair devoted to old master paintings and drawings, decorative artists and much more? Cultureshock’s Jane Morris did and selected her highlights from the 277 galleries represented, ranging from a 1592 portrait by Lavinia Fontana – one of the most successful female mannerist painters – to a 2026 take on Manet’s Bar at the Folies-Bergère, 1882, by Scottish artist Caroline Walker.

Art Thinking’s existential challenge to luxury brands
“If aspiring brands don’t engage with artists, they will simply be degraded to commodities or cease to exist,” warned Vadim Grigoryan, author of Cultureshock’s Art Thinking, who took centre stage as keynote speaker for the Art Business Conference in Paris. Quoted at length in this Artnet article, Grigoryan has brought fresh thinking to the ever-widening trend for artist-brand collaborations. Set against the backdrop of the Grand Palais, the article examines the promise and pitfalls of these partnerships, highlighting that the strongest ones build on shared values, creative freedom and genuine exchange rather than short-term marketing gestures.

Hyundai Translocal Series: Entangled and Woven

This beautifully shot 10-minute film, Hyundai Translocal Series: Entangled and Woven, brings viewers inside studios and workshops where creative practices bridge material and memory across regions in Korea, India and the UK.
