Genesis Art Initiatives
Genesis Art Initiatives works in partnership with insitutions and individuals to create meaningful art experiences in a busy world.
As Genesis motoring group prepared to launch their first art initiative, The Genesis Facade Commission with The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the brand approached Cultureshock for expert help in growing an arts-curious audience through inspiring social content.
The first two artists commissioned for the Metropolitan Museum of Art were Lee Bul and Jeffrey Gibson. Alongside this at London’s Tate Modern, The Genesis Exhibition opened with a major retrospective of Do Ho Suh’s work from the last three decades. Meanwhile LACMA launched The Genesis Talks, a public programme on creativity, vision and collaboration. 2026 sees Jeff Koons, Mark Bradford, Darren Walker and Peter Zumthor in discussion.
Cultureshock developed a new brand positioning and social content strategy for Genesis Art Initiatives focused on engaging arts-curious audiences with these exciting commissions. Our in-house film, design, editorial and social media teams created a suite of films and digital content to distribute worldwide across Genesis’s social channels.
The results have shown a huge growth in arts-curious audiences engaging with the brand, bringing a new audience to Genesis.
