Art as a force for social change
How do art and contemporary culture reflect the times we live in? This is the question posed by this book, commissioned by the Democracy and Culture Foundation to mark the 10th Art for Tomorrow conference, and written by Farah Nayeri of The New York Times.
The book chronicles some of the conference’s most striking moments, featuring Ai Weiwei, Marina Abramović, Jeff Koons, Rem Koolhaas and star speakers who are no longer with us, such as Zaha Hadid, Christo and Robert Wilson.

“Working with Cultureshock on the Art for Tomorrow book was a truly collaborative joy. Their creativity, design focus, disciplined project management with an empathy for our needs, and intuitive understanding of our vision made the entire process refreshing and seamless. They didn’t just help shape the book; they brought it to life.”
